These Booking Terms & Conditions explain how appointments are booked, cancelled and managed for both our car care services and automatic driving lessons. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.
If you have any questions, please contact us before making a booking.
All appointments are arranged in advance and are subject to availability.
We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for driving lessons and larger vehicle maintenance appointments.
Appointments are only confirmed once agreed by both parties.
Please arrive at the agreed time for your appointment.
If you expect to be delayed, please let us know as soon as possible.
Late arrival may reduce the time available for your appointment or require it to be rescheduled.
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.
Providing reasonable notice helps us offer your appointment to another customer.
Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in future bookings being declined.
Before carrying out any work, we will discuss your requirements and provide a quotation or estimate where appropriate.
If additional work is identified after inspecting your vehicle, we will contact you before any further work is carried out wherever reasonably possible.
No additional chargeable work will be completed without your agreement.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is safe and legal to be driven to and from their appointment.
Please remove any valuable or personal belongings before leaving your vehicle with us.
Whilst every care is taken, TLC – Tom Langlands Car Care cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings left inside vehicles.
Collection arrangements will be agreed when your appointment is booked.
Vehicles should be collected promptly once work has been completed unless otherwise agreed.
Driving lessons are provided by appointment only.
Learners must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence where required by law and must ensure they are legally entitled to drive.
Lessons are delivered in a safe, professional and supportive environment.
If, in the instructor’s reasonable opinion, a learner is unfit to drive due to illness, alcohol, drugs or any other factor affecting safety, the lesson may be cancelled or ended immediately.
Safety will always take priority.
On rare occasions, appointments may need to be rearranged due to severe weather, vehicle breakdown, illness or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative appointment.
Payment is due upon completion of the agreed service unless another arrangement has been made in advance.
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Any quotation or estimate is based on the information available at the time.
Where additional work is required following inspection of a vehicle, this will be discussed before any extra chargeable work is carried out.
